About the role

The primary role of this position is to support Claims Adjusters located in North America by completing various tasks as instructed.

Responsibilities

  • Assist Claims Adjusters by executing tasks as directed
  • Prepare, send, and print correspondences related to claims
  • Request and obtain necessary reports and documentation
  • Process payments related to claims
  • Maintain organized records of all correspondence, reports, and payments
  • Ensure the quality of work is achieved
  • Collaborate with team members and other departments
  • Stay informed about company policies and procedures
  • Participate in training and development opportunities
  • Pass all certification exams

Requirements

  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to organize work effectively
  • Ability to maintain a high level of quality
  • Sound knowledge of claims administration procedures
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Tertiary Qualified or minimum of 2 years of experience in claims handling
  • Claims Insurance background for at least 6 months
